You will find all of your questions answered on this page

Q. Why do I see ads for cheaper cleaners?

A. Basically, you get what you pay for. There are some cleaners out there that grab a vacuum and a bottle of
Windex and call themselves a cleaning service. They may charge less, but you will in no way receive the
professionalism or dependable service you will with our company. Cheaper cleaners are often times less
experienced and don’t know the proper care for your surfaces like granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances,
ceramic tile, hardwood floors, etc. They also may not be reporting wages to the IRS and may not carry liability
insurance or bonding. The value in hiring our cleaning services is in our experience, our professionalism and the
fact that with Sparkling Clean Houses you just don’t have to worry about anything. We are bonded, licensed and
insured, and we are the best value for your hard earned money. For your peace of mind, call us, you won’t regret it.

Q. What if I want Extras added or a more detailed cleaning?

A. Additional services can always be added to your maintenance cleans. All we ask is that you pre-schedule any
“extras” prior to our scheduled visit, as the time and fee will need to be adjusted. Our goal is to customize our
services to your needs. Please see our list of Additional Services offered on our Services page.

Q. Does Sparkling Clean Houses charge by the hour or a flat rate?

A. If you will be using our services for maintenance cleaning (weekly, bi – weekly, or monthly intervals), we charge
hourly for the initial clean, as described above in the RATES section. This allows us to determine how much work is
involved and allows us to see what level of maintenance your home requires. No two homes/families are alike.
After your initial clean, you will be charged a flat fee, unless and until your cleaning needs change.
For all other types of cleanings, i.e., one time cleanings, move ins/outs, and specialty cleanings, we charge by the
hour.

Q. What is the best interval for me?

WEEKLY cleaning is desired by many professionals and active busy people who just don’t have time to do more
than a basic pick up.

BI-WEEKLY cleaning is good for those who do some maintenance themselves but need help with the heavier work.
Most of our clients have a bi-weekly service.

MONTHLY cleaning is a great choice for those who clean their own home but want a good once over every
month……

Q. Does Sparkling Clean Houses bring their own supplies?

A. We bring all our own cleaning products and supplies and all equipment.

Q. Do I have to be home when you come to clean?

A. Most of our clients are not home while we clean because they are working or busy with their hectic schedules. It
is more efficient for us to clean when people are not there, however we do clean for clients who work at home, or
don’t work during the day.

Q. Do I have to provide Sparkling Clean Houses with a key?

A. No, you don’t have to give us a key, but it does make it easier. We do have a lock out fee of $25.00 in the event
that we come to your home and we are locked out. So please make sure we can get in on your scheduled day.
Keys are closely guarded and NEVER leave our possession.

Q. Do I have to clean before you come to clean?

A. No, just a quick pick up of personal items and clutter is all that most clients do prior to our visit. That will enable
us to concentrate on what we do best – CLEAN! – and to cut down on your time. So let us do what we do best –
make your home Sparkling Clean!

Q. What if I am not happy with my cleaning?

A. Please contact us within 24 hours to address anything you are not happy about. We’re not happy unless you are
happy! Letting us know in a timely manner is essential.

Q. What if I have to cancel just one cleaning?

A. If you give us more than 48 hours notice of your cancellation, then there is no charge. If you cancel less than 48
hours from your scheduled cleaning time, there will be a $35.00 fee. The only exception to this rule is illness (see
below) or family emergency.

Q. What if someone is home sick on my cleaning day?

A. We do have a rather strict policy regarding illness, which most of our clients appreciate. We will not clean if you
or one of your family members are home sick. This is particularly important to stop the spread of colds and flu, or
any other communicable disease. This policy gives all our clients peace of mind, that we are not cleaning in a sick
house and then coming into your home. We take extra precautions during cold and flu season such as more
frequent hand washing, and the use of hand sanitizer. And you can be assured that all rags used in your home
have been pre-soaked and double washed in bleach.

So please call us if someone is home sick, even if it is the morning of your scheduled cleaning.

There will be no charge for a “sick day” cancellation.
